Lenovo Unveils Featherlight Tablet Featuring a Smooth 144Hz Display

Lenovo has quietly expanded its tablet lineup with the new Idea Tab Pro Gen 2, a lightweight model positioned for people who want a premium screen and fast everyday performance without jumping to ultra-high flagship prices.

In the UK, the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 starts at £479. That entry model comes with 128 GB of UFS 3.1 storage, which is designed to keep apps and file loading feeling snappy. Buyers who want more space and faster storage can step up to the 256 GB version for £515, and that configuration upgrades to UFS 4.0 for improved read and write speeds.

Pricing in Europe is a bit higher overall. The Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 begins at €529 across the Eurozone, while some countries are listing it closer to €550 depending on local pricing and availability.

Lenovo is also pushing the tablet as a more complete productivity setup in certain markets by bundling or offering optional accessories like a stylus pen and a keyboard. With those add-ons included, plus a 68 W power adapter, the total cost can reach as high as €687. This makes it easier for students, professionals, and creatives to turn the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 into a more laptop-like portable workstation for note-taking, typing, and multitasking.

The model is also being promoted around its high-refresh display, aimed at smoother scrolling, more fluid animations, and a more responsive feel in compatible apps and games.
