Lenovo Unveils Budget-Friendly Office Monitor With Smooth 100Hz Performance

Lenovo’s Lecoo brand has introduced a new budget-friendly office monitor in China, the Lecoo M2460, aimed at users who need a simple, affordable display for everyday productivity. Designed for work, study, browsing, and general desktop use, the monitor focuses on practical features rather than premium extras.

The Lecoo M2460 comes with a 23.8-inch IPS display, a popular size for office desks and home workstations. It offers a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, which is suitable for document editing, spreadsheets, video calls, web browsing, and light multimedia use. One of its standout features in the entry-level segment is the 100 Hz refresh rate, giving users smoother scrolling and a more fluid viewing experience compared to standard 60 Hz office monitors.

Lenovo Lecoo has equipped the M2460 with a typical brightness of 300 cd/m² and a wide 178-degree viewing angle, helping the screen remain clear and consistent when viewed from different positions. While the company has not shared details about color gamut coverage, the IPS panel should still offer better viewing comfort than basic TN displays commonly found in low-cost monitors.

The monitor also features a modern three-sided narrow-bezel design, giving it a cleaner and more contemporary look. The side bezels measure around 3.5 mm, making the display suitable for users who want a minimal desktop setup or plan to place multiple monitors side by side.

For connectivity, the Lecoo M2460 includes HDMI and D-Sub ports. The port selection is basic, so users looking for USB-C or DisplayPort support may need to consider higher-end options. However, for most standard office PCs, laptops, and older systems, the available inputs should be enough.

To improve eye comfort during long work sessions, the monitor supports low blue light and flicker-free technologies. These features are especially useful for users who spend several hours a day reading, typing, or working in front of the screen. The M2460 also includes tilt adjustment from -5 degrees to 15 degrees, allowing users to find a more comfortable viewing angle. In addition, it supports 75 x 75 mm wall mounting for those who prefer a cleaner desk setup or want to use a monitor arm.

The Lenovo Lecoo M2460 is currently available only in China, priced at CNY 599, which is roughly $90. At this price, it positions itself as an attractive option for buyers seeking an affordable Full HD office monitor with a smooth 100 Hz refresh rate and essential eye-care features. Lenovo has not yet confirmed whether the Lecoo M2460 will launch in other markets.
