Lenovo Shrinks Its 140W Power Bank and Adds a Built-In Charger

Lenovo has introduced a new compact power bank in the US that aims to replace both your portable battery and wall charger in one device. The Lenovo Hybrid 2-in-1 Power Bank 140W (10.2K) delivers high-speed charging in a smaller-capacity design, making it a practical option for users who want a travel-friendly charger for laptops, phones, tablets, and other USB-C devices.

The new model features a 10,200mAh battery capacity, built using three 3,400mAh cells. While it has less capacity than Lenovo’s earlier 20,000mAh version, it keeps the same headline feature: support for up to 140W charging output in hybrid mode.

One of the biggest advantages of this accessory is its 2-in-1 design. It works not only as a portable power bank but also as a wall charger. A foldable plug is built into one end of the device, allowing users to connect it directly to a power outlet without needing to carry a separate adapter. This makes it especially useful for travel, commuting, office work, or anyone who wants to reduce cable and charger clutter.

Lenovo has also added a 1.3-inch TFT display to the power bank. The screen shows helpful real-time information, including remaining battery level, operating time, and temperature. A single physical power button is located on the right side for simple control.

The device includes two USB-C ports, both of which can be used for input and output. When charging the power bank itself through either USB-C port, the maximum input is 24W. When using one USB-C port to charge another device, the output reaches up to 65W. If both ports are used at the same time, the USB-C1 port can deliver up to 45W, while the USB-C2 port can provide up to 20W.

The standout feature is Lenovo’s hybrid charging technology. When the power bank is plugged into a wall outlet, the USB-C1 port can deliver up to 140W by combining power from the AC outlet with power from the internal battery. This allows it to charge compatible high-performance devices, such as supported laptops, at much faster speeds than a typical portable charger.

For users who do not need the full 140W output, the Lenovo Hybrid 2-in-1 Power Bank 140W (10.2K) can also function as a 65W wall charger. This flexibility makes it suitable for a wide range of devices, from smartphones and tablets to ultraportable laptops and select power-hungry USB-C machines.

Lenovo has included several safety features as well, including over-voltage protection, over-temperature protection, and over-current protection. These safeguards are designed to help protect both the power bank and connected devices during charging.

The power bank supports Lenovo’s 20V 7A charging protocol and Moto 125W private charging protocol. It weighs 360 grams and measures 148 × 114 × 56 mm, making it compact enough to carry in a backpack, laptop bag, or travel pouch. Lenovo includes a 1.8-meter USB-C cable and a carrying bag in the box.

The Lenovo Hybrid 2-in-1 Power Bank 140W (10.2K) is now available in the US for $99.99. With its combination of portable charging, wall adapter functionality, smart display, and high-output hybrid mode, it could be a strong option for users looking for a powerful all-in-one USB-C charging solution.
