Lenovo is expanding its custom graphics card lineup with two fresh designs aimed squarely at gamers in China: a Radeon RX 9070 XT inspired by classic RX Vega styling and a compact, single-fan GeForce RTX 5060.
The Radeon RX 9070 XT immediately stands out with a clean, understated shroud and a triple-fan cooler that echoes Lenovo’s recent Legion editions of high-end GPUs. The heatsink looks substantial, and an RGB Radeon RX 9070 XT logo along the edge adds some subtle flair. The card appears to occupy three slots and uses a dual 8-pin PCIe power setup, signaling a focus on robust cooling and stability rather than extreme overclocking. While some board partners have experimented with 16-pin power on certain models, there have been scattered reports of connector issues on those designs; traditional multi 8-pin configurations are widely regarded as a safer bet under heavy loads.
On the other end of the spectrum, Lenovo’s custom GeForce RTX 5060 takes a minimalist approach. This model uses a single-fan cooler, fits within two slots, and forgoes a backplate, leaving some PCB components visible. Power delivery is kept simple with a single 8-pin connector, which should make installation straightforward in compact or budget-friendly builds.
Key details such as clock speeds, pricing, and exact release timing have not been announced. As with Lenovo’s previous custom graphics cards, both models are expected to be limited to the Chinese market and are likely to ship primarily inside pre-built Legion desktops.
For gamers watching the next wave of mid-to-high-end GPUs, Lenovo’s latest designs hint at two distinct priorities: a premium, thermally capable Radeon option with a familiar Legion aesthetic, and a no-fuss GeForce card built for space- and power-conscious systems. Keep an eye out for official specs, performance metrics, and availability updates as launch plans become clearer.
