Lenovo Legion Go 2 drops by $700 in limited-time Costco deal
The Lenovo Legion Go 2 has become one of the more expensive gaming handhelds on the market following several price increases since launch. Rising component costs, especially around memory, have pushed its price higher over time. But for shoppers who have been waiting for a meaningful discount, Costco is now offering a major limited-time deal.
The Lenovo Legion Go 2 is currently listed at Costco for $999.99, down from its previous price of $1,699.99. That brings the total savings to $700, making this one of the biggest discounts seen so far for the handheld gaming PC.
The offer is scheduled to run until October 11, but availability may not last that long if inventory sells out early. Anyone interested in picking up the device at this lower price may want to act quickly.
This discounted Lenovo Legion Go 2 model comes equipped with an AMD Ryzen Z2 processor featuring 8 cores, giving it the power needed for modern PC gaming on the go. It also includes 32GB of LPDDR5X memory, which should help with multitasking, game performance, and overall system responsiveness.
Storage is another strong point, with a 1TB SSD included. That gives players enough room to install a solid collection of games without immediately needing to delete older titles to make space. For those who need even more room, the handheld also includes a microSD card reader for storage expansion.
One of the standout features of the Legion Go 2 is its 8.8-inch OLED display. The screen offers a 1920 x 1200 resolution and a fast 144Hz refresh rate, making it well-suited for smooth gameplay and crisp visuals. Compared to standard 60Hz displays, the higher refresh rate can make supported games feel more fluid and responsive.
Connectivity is also competitive for a handheld gaming device. The Legion Go 2 includes two USB 4.0 ports, giving users flexibility for accessories, external displays, docks, or fast data transfers.
Costco is adding extra value to the bundle by including a free carrying case. That should make it easier to travel with the device while also helping protect it from scratches and minor bumps. Buyers will also receive three months of PC Game Pass, giving them instant access to a large library of games without needing to purchase titles separately right away.
At $999.99, the Lenovo Legion Go 2 becomes a much more attractive option for gamers looking for a powerful Windows gaming handheld with a premium OLED screen, strong memory capacity, and plenty of storage. With the $700 discount and added bundle extras, this Costco deal could be worth considering before it expires or sells out.
