The Vivo V40e is anticipated to succeed its predecessor as a sleek, ultra-thin Android smartphone, all while boasting a market-leading battery capacity. This upcoming model is expected to feature a more modern design and introduce a new color option that resembles a hue exclusive to the latest iPhone 16 series. Additionally, it aims to compete with devices like the CMF Phone 1 by utilizing the same MediaTek chip.
The current Vivo V30e, hailed as “India’s thinnest smartphone” with a 5,500mAh battery, might soon pass that title to the new Vivo V40e, according to recent leaks. Unlike the V30e’s Velvet Red and Silk Blue colors, the V40e is rumored to debut in a striking Desert Titanium shade called Royal Bronze, potentially mirroring the new iPhone’s aesthetic.
The V40e may also sport an updated design with a fresh camera hump similar to others in the V40 series. Internally, there’s speculation that it will be powered by a Dimensity 7300 SoC, stepping up from the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 of its predecessor. Despite these upgrades, it is expected to maintain the same 8GB of RAM and run on an Android 14-based version of Funtouch OS, according to new Geekbench listings linked to its model number.
With its appearance on the Bluetooth Special Interest Group and BIS databases, it’s becoming clear that the Vivo V40e is gearing up for a launch in the Indian market. This ultra-slim, long-lasting smartphone is expected to be available later in September 2024, offering an exciting new option for tech enthusiasts.
As pre-launch leaks continue to create a buzz, anticipation is building for this innovative addition to Vivo’s lineup.
