Leaked Renders Reveal Xiaomi Poco X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max Ahead of Global Debut

Xiaomi appears to be gearing up for the global debut of two new Poco mid-range smartphones: the Poco X8 Pro and the Poco X8 Pro Max. Both phones have already popped up in certifications and benchmark listings, and a new leak now offers a clearer look at their designs and color choices ahead of any official announcement.

According to the newly leaked renders, the Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max will arrive in three finishes: black, white, and blue. The pair follows a matching design language, highlighted by a pill-shaped rear camera island that houses a dual-camera setup. From the front, they also look nearly identical, featuring slim, uniform bezels and a center punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera—an increasingly common style for modern Android phones.

One small but noticeable difference separates the two models on the back. The Poco X8 Pro Max is shown with a dual-LED flash setup, while the standard Poco X8 Pro appears to use a single LED flash. It’s a subtle change, but it helps visually distinguish the Max model as the higher-tier option.

Leaks so far suggest these two Poco phones may be rebranded versions of the Redmi Turbo 5 and Redmi Turbo 5 Max, and the latest renders seem to reinforce that idea. If that holds true, buyers can expect familiar hardware aimed at delivering strong performance and battery life at a competitive price.

On the specs side, the Poco X8 Pro is rumored to feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED display and run on the Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset. Benchmark information circulating online hints at roughly a 7% boost in single-core performance compared to the Poco X7 Pro, while multi-core performance may remain in a similar range. Battery capacity is also expected to be a major selling point, with rumors pointing to a sizeable 6,500mAh battery.

The Poco X8 Pro Max, meanwhile, is expected to step things up with a larger 6.83-inch OLED display. It may come powered by the Dimensity 9500s chipset, and it’s rumored to pack a massive 8,500mAh battery. Fast charging could be another highlight, with reports suggesting support for 100W charging—potentially making it a standout choice for users who want long battery life without slow top-ups.

For now, Xiaomi hasn’t confirmed an official launch date for the Poco X8 series. But with design renders, certifications, and performance leaks already circulating, the Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max look increasingly close to a formal reveal.
