The much-anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 has generated significant buzz, rivaling any other recent tech release in terms of leaks. While some rumors have been questionable, the latest leak from a case manufacturer seems to carry a bit more weight. This exciting development not only lends credibility to past whispers but also gives a closer look at changes to the Switch 2’s design, including its innovative Joy-Con controllers.
In a rather revealing post on Facebook, the accessory maker formerly known as Skull & Co. Gaming—soon to be rebranded as Savage Raven—unveiled its forthcoming NeoGrip accessory for the Nintendo Switch 2. These promotional images featured the grips attached to what is believed to be a very accurate rendering of Nintendo’s next-generation console.
The visuals reveal several updated features of the Nintendo Switch 2. One notable change is the redesigned Joy-Cons, showcasing a larger and more ergonomically spaced control setup. The console also boasts a bigger LCD screen with impressively slim bezels, hinting at a more modern aesthetic. The revamped kickstand on the back of the device, reminiscent of some earlier leaks from Reddit, is another noteworthy change.
Additional enhancements include tighter joints between the Joy-Cons and the main tablet, offering a sleeker and potentially more robust design. A new “C” button has also been added to the right Joy-Con, stirring speculation that it could serve purposes such as casting or chatting, though its ultimate function remains a secret held by Nintendo. Other design refinements include updated Joy-Con detachment buttons, larger triggers, and redesigned thumb sticks.
