Samsung’s next wave of wireless earbuds is about to land, and a fresh leak is giving fans a clear preview of what to expect. New images circulating online suggest the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro are getting a complete visual overhaul, moving away from the look of the Galaxy Buds 3 series and leaning into a more modern, stem-based design.
According to the leaked renders, both the Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro adopt a similar overall style, featuring metallic, touch-sensitive stems designed for gesture controls. This points to an emphasis on easier playback and call management without needing to reach for your phone, a feature many buyers now consider essential in premium true wireless earbuds.
One of the most noticeable changes is the charging case. Both models are shown with a compact “squircle” shape and a transparent top lid, a design choice that makes the earbuds more visible at a glance and helps the case stand out in a crowded market of look-alike accessory designs.
There’s also a key difference between the two versions that could matter a lot for comfort and passive sound blocking. The Galaxy Buds 4 Pro are expected to include silicone ear tips, while the standard Galaxy Buds 4 appear to skip the silicone tips entirely. In practical terms, silicone tips usually help create a tighter seal in the ear, which can improve passive noise isolation even before any active noise cancellation kicks in. If this holds true in the final product, the Buds 4 Pro may be the better pick for commuting, travel, and noisier environments.
Pricing details have also been rumored ahead of launch. The Galaxy Buds 4 are said to be priced at €179 in Europe (around $212), while the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro could come in at €249 (around $294). If accurate, both models would remain under the $300 mark, positioning them as premium earbuds without crossing into higher-priced territory.
Samsung is expected to officially unveil the Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro on February 25 at its next Galaxy Unpacked event. The same event is also anticipated to introduce the Galaxy S26 lineup, including the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra—making it a major date for anyone planning an upgrade to both their phone and audio gear.
With a redesigned look, new case styling, and a clearer split between standard and Pro features, the Galaxy Buds 4 series is shaping up to be one of Samsung’s more noticeable earbud refreshes in recent years.
