Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 Bands Leak Ahead of Launch
Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked event is getting closer, and the leaks are already building excitement. Alongside the expected new foldable phones, Samsung is widely expected to introduce the Galaxy Watch 9 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. Now, a major leak has revealed what could be one of the biggest accessory lineups yet for Samsung’s upcoming smartwatches.
According to newly surfaced images, buyers may have a huge selection of Galaxy Watch 9 bands and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 bands to choose from at launch. Around 60 images of watch straps have appeared online, showing multiple styles, colors, and materials designed for Samsung’s 2026 smartwatch lineup.
The Galaxy Watch 9 is expected to keep a familiar design, refining the look Samsung fans already know. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 appears to be getting a more classic-inspired makeover. Earlier renders suggested that Samsung may blend elements of its rugged Ultra design with styling cues from the Galaxy Watch Classic series, giving the new Ultra model a more premium and traditional watch-like appearance.
The leaked band collection suggests Samsung wants to make personalization a major selling point this year. Not every band appears to be made for both models, though. Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 bands seem to feature a visible Ultra marking, while the standard Galaxy Watch 9 bands do not. The connector system also appears similar to last year’s setup, meaning the Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Watch Ultra lines may continue to use different band fittings.
One of the most eye-catching options is the Sporty Band, which appears to be available for both the Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. The leaked images show several color choices, including orange, green, black, blue, and cream. Its design looks similar to the Marine-style band previously associated with Samsung’s Ultra smartwatch range, making it a good choice for workouts, outdoor use, and everyday wear.
Samsung also appears to be preparing new Hybrid Bands for 2026. These straps are designed to look more like leather while still being practical for active lifestyles. Based on the leak, the Hybrid Band may launch in beige, black, brown, and gray. These more muted, earthy tones could appeal to users who want a smartwatch band that works well in both casual and professional settings.
For Galaxy Watch 9 buyers, Samsung may offer a selection of softer pastel-colored bands. The leaked images point to shades such as light yellow, blue, green, and white. These colors give the Galaxy Watch 9 a fresh and playful look, making it easier for users to match the watch with different outfits or seasonal styles.
Another notable option is a redesigned Sport Band. This new version appears to feature a slight concave shape down the middle, giving it a more modern and streamlined appearance. The leaked colors include dark yellow, green, light blue, and black. If this becomes the default Galaxy Watch 9 band, it could give Samsung’s new smartwatch a more distinctive look right out of the box.
Fabric Bands also seem to be returning for both upcoming Samsung watches. The design appears mostly unchanged, which may be good news for users who already like the comfort and lightweight feel of Samsung’s fabric straps. Expected color options include black, blue, green, and beige.
For the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, the leak also shows a Trail Band designed specifically for the rugged smartwatch. This band may arrive in orange, black, green, and blue. The Trail Band looks positioned toward users who want a durable, outdoor-friendly option for hiking, running, training, and adventure-focused use.
With so many leaked Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 band options, Samsung seems ready to put customization front and center. Whether users prefer sporty silicone straps, fabric bands, leather-like hybrid designs, pastel colors, or rugged outdoor bands, the upcoming lineup could offer something for nearly every style.
