Leaked: Budget-Friendly RedmiBook Refresh With Intel Panther Lake Lands Before Official Reveal

Xiaomi has just introduced the Book Pro 14 in China, positioning it as a sleek, thin-and-light laptop for people who want portability without giving up modern performance. Now, a fresh leak suggests the company is getting ready to roll out something more budget-friendly: a new RedmiBook refresh in both 14-inch and 16-inch sizes.

According to the leak, Xiaomi is preparing multiple Intel Panther Lake configurations for the upcoming RedmiBook lineup. While a full specification sheet hasn’t surfaced yet, one of the standout options mentioned is a Core Ultra X7 358H model. This chip is expected to deliver strong overall performance and comes paired with Intel’s Arc B390 integrated graphics, which should be a solid fit for everyday work, creative tasks, and lighter gaming without needing a dedicated GPU.

The higher-end Core Ultra X7 358H RedmiBook variant is said to offer up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, which is a generous ceiling for an “affordable” laptop line and makes it attractive for power users who still want a better value than premium ultrabooks.

More importantly for price-conscious buyers, Xiaomi is also reportedly planning two additional CPU options: Core Ultra 5 325 and Core Ultra 5 338H.

The Core Ultra 5 325 is described as the entry-level choice, likely designed to keep the starting price low. If you’re shopping for a dependable laptop for school, office work, web browsing, coding, and media consumption, this is the kind of configuration that typically hits the best balance between cost and battery-friendly performance.

The Core Ultra 5 338H steps things up with Intel Arc B370 integrated graphics, making it the more capable mid-tier option for users who want a little more headroom for multitasking, photo editing, and graphics-accelerated workloads.

The leak also claims that these Core Ultra 5 models will be priced more aggressively than the top-tier configuration, which is exactly what many customers expect from the Redmi branding.

For context, Xiaomi’s newly launched Book Pro 14 is available with similar processor options and reportedly starts at CNY 7,999 in China (around $1,161). Since Redmi devices are typically positioned below Xiaomi’s main-branded products in price, it wouldn’t be surprising if the Panther Lake-based RedmiBook starts under CNY 7,999—especially in the Core Ultra 5 325 configuration.

If the leak is accurate, the new 14-inch and 16-inch RedmiBook models could arrive as soon as late April 2026. For anyone holding out for a modern Intel Core Ultra laptop with Arc graphics at a more accessible price, this could be one of the more interesting laptop launches to watch.
