JVC Unveils Cutting-Edge RS2200 and RS1200 Native 4K Projectors

JVC has just unveiled two exciting new projector models for home theater enthusiasts: the RS2200 and the RS1200, also known as the NZ700 and NZ500 respectively. These D-ILA projectors are touted as the most compact native 4K options available, with dimensions of 17.7 x 7.2 x 18.9 inches (approximately 450 x 182 x 479 mm).

Both models feature a 0.69-inch D-ILA device that promises to deliver richer blacks, consistent brightness, and impressive native contrast ratios of 80,000:1 (RS2200) and 40,000:1 (RS1200). JVC has equipped these projectors with a BLU-escent laser light source, allowing the RS2200 to reach a brightness of up to 2,300 lumens, while the RS1200 can achieve up to 2,000 lumens.

You can project images up to 200 inches (~508 cm) wide with these projectors, thanks to their 1.34 – 2.14 throw ratio. For fine-tuning, there are electric zoom, focus, and shift tools. The RS2200 and RS1200 also boast advanced picture-enhancing features such as Frame Adapt HDR, vivid picture mode, and FILMMAKER MODE. Moreover, they support HDR10+ and HLG to ensure that your viewing experience is as vibrant and dynamic as possible.

When it comes to connectivity, the projectors offer dual HDMI ports (4K@60Hz), RJ45, and USB-A. However, it’s important to note that these models do not have built-in speakers or support for 3D content.

The JVC DLA-NZ700/RS2200 and DLA-NZ500/RS1200 projectors are set to launch this November, with prices at $8,999/€8,999 and $5,999/€5,999 respectively. With their cutting-edge features and compact design, these projectors are set to provide an exceptional home theater experience.
