In an exciting update, the once fleeting Godzilla and Ichiban’s Holiday DLCs have returned to storefronts, now available for download without any time constraints. This change comes in response to community feedback, which criticized the limited availability of these releases.
Jaeho Hwang, head of Mintrocket, expressed understanding and extended apologies to those who felt disappointed by the previous approach. The developers also acknowledged concerns about the value of paid DLCs. In a move to address this, they slashed the price of Ichiban’s Holiday by 50% during the current Steam Summer Sale and pledged to offer regular discounts moving forward.
Fans of Dave the Diver have more to look forward to, as the game will receive a free upgrade for the anticipated Nintendo Switch 2. This promises improved performance, enhanced frame rates, and better overall stability, taking full advantage of the new hardware. Hwang expressed hopes that these enhancements will make diving and fishing in the game even more enjoyable.
Expanding its reach, Dave the Diver has also been launched on the Epic Games Store, making it accessible to a broader audience. This move particularly benefits PC gamers who prefer the Epic ecosystem or possess exclusive store credits.
Although the “In the Jungle” DLC has been delayed, it promises a completely original story with greater creative freedom, unbound by third-party licensing constraints. This change offers longtime players more flexibility in content, availability, and pricing, marking an exciting new chapter for the game.
