JMGO has officially launched the N3 Ultimate in Japan, bringing a premium triple-laser 4K projector to home theater fans who want big-screen visuals without the hassle of a traditional TV setup. Built for cinematic viewing and smooth gaming, the JMGO N3 Ultimate is designed to deliver a bright, colorful HDR image at massive sizes—up to 300 inches.
At the heart of the projector is a triple-laser light engine that pushes brightness up to 5,800 ISO lumens, helping images stay vibrant even when there’s some ambient light in the room. It supports HDR10 and is Dolby Vision certified, aiming to deliver stronger contrast, improved highlight detail, and more lifelike color when watching compatible movies and shows.
Color performance is a major selling point here. Using Japanese Nichia laser emitters, the N3 Ultimate covers 110 percent of the BT.2020 color space, which is a wide gamut target commonly associated with high-end HDR content. JMGO also lists a dynamic contrast ratio of 3,000,000:1, focusing on deeper blacks and better separation between bright and dark areas during dramatic scenes.
To further refine image quality, the projector includes AI-based image enhancement and a Laser Sparkle Reducer, both meant to improve clarity while minimizing distracting visual artifacts that can sometimes appear with laser projection.
Audio is handled by built-in dual 12.5 W speakers, certified for Dolby Audio and DTS:X. That means it’s positioned to provide a more immersive, room-filling sound experience without immediately requiring an external sound system—though home theater enthusiasts can still choose to pair it with their own audio setup.
The JMGO N3 Ultimate also leans heavily into convenience. Automatic image setup and focus are included, along with auto keystoning and object avoidance, helping the projector quickly align the picture and adjust when something is in the way. This is especially useful for living rooms or multi-purpose spaces where placement isn’t always perfect.
For streaming and apps, the projector runs Google TV 5.0 and is powered by a MediaTek MT9679 processor, backed by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. That combination is intended to keep navigation smooth and provide enough space for apps and system updates.
Gamers get a notable bonus: the N3 Ultimate can reach refresh rates up to 240 Hz when running at 1080p, with a pixel refresh rate as low as 1 ms. This makes it a compelling option for fast-paced competitive gaming where responsiveness and motion clarity matter.
In Japan, the JMGO N3 Ultimate 4K triple-laser projector is available with an MSRP of 499,180 yen (around $3,200). It’s also listed for pre-order in the US at $3,599.
