iQoo Unveils Z11 5G With a Huge 9,020mAh Battery, Plus Budget-Friendly Z11x Launch

iQoo has expanded its mid-range Z-series lineup in China with two new 5G phones designed for people who care most about battery life: the iQoo Z11 and iQoo Z11x. Both models arrive with unusually large batteries for their class, aiming to deliver long screen time without forcing buyers into flagship pricing.

The iQoo Z11 is the higher-end option and stands out with a massive 9,020 mAh silicon-carbon battery. It also supports 90W wired fast charging, helping offset the time it would normally take to refill such a big cell. While there’s no wireless charging, the phone does include reverse charging, meaning it can act as a backup power source for other devices via USB-C—useful if you want your phone to double as a power bank in a pinch.

Performance is handled by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. Storage expansion isn’t included, so buyers will want to choose their capacity carefully. On the front, iQoo equips the Z11 with a 6.83-inch AMOLED display featuring FHD+ resolution and a smooth 165Hz refresh rate, which should appeal to gamers and anyone who values fluid scrolling and animation.

For cameras, the iQoo Z11 offers a 50MP main rear camera with optical image stabilization, alongside a 2MP depth sensor. Selfies and video calls are handled by a 16MP front camera. Software is Android 16-based OriginOS 6 out of the box.

The iQoo Z11x is positioned as a more affordable alternative while still keeping the big-battery theme. It comes with a 7,050 mAh battery and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset. The display shifts to a 6.76-inch FHD+ LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Camera specs remain centered around a 50MP main sensor, and the phone offers up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. Like the Z11, it ships with Android 16-based OriginOS 6, though there’s no official detail yet on long-term update support.

Color choices for the lineup include black, blue, and white.

Pricing in China starts at CNY 1,999 for the iQoo Z11 in its 8GB + 256GB configuration, climbing to CNY 3,199 (about $463) for the 16GB + 512GB version. The iQoo Z11x begins at CNY 1,499 (about $217) for 8GB + 256GB, with the top 12GB + 512GB variant priced at CNY 2,199 (about $319). Both phones are already available for purchase in China through Vivo’s official online store.
