Apple has rolled out iOS 26.4, its fourth major update for iOS 26, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most meaningful iPhone software releases of the year. Accessibility gets attention in this update as well. New options let users reduce Liquid Glass animations and tone down bright on-screen elements, helping people who prefer a calmer interface or who are sensitive to motion and intense visual effects.
On top of that, iOS 26.4 introduces support for AirPods Max 2 and includes eight new emoji to expand your messaging options.
Apple’s Freeform app is also receiving premium content, though it requires a Creator Studio subscription to access those extras.
