Introducing Xiaomi Redmi 14C: Affordable Android Excellence with a Luxe Design

Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi 14C, positioned as an affordable successor to last year’s Redmi 13C. The new Android device features several noteworthy upgrades, including the Helio G81 Ultra chipset, up to 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, a dual camera system with a 50 MP primary sensor, and a design that aims to offer a premium feel.

The back of the Redmi 14C showcases a design similar to high-end Xiaomi models, featuring glass and a slim profile at 8.22 mm thick. It houses a dual camera setup, comprising a 50 MP main sensor and an auxiliary unit. On the front, the phone is equipped with a 6.88-inch display that supports up to a 120 Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1640×720 pixels, along with two TÜV Rheinland certifications. Additionally, there’s a 13 MP selfie camera, which is an upgrade from the 8 MP sensor in the previous model.

Under the hood, the Redmi 14C is powered by the Helio G81 Ultra processor from MediaTek, paired with up to 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. It also includes a 5,160 mAh battery capable of 18W wired charging, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and is available in four color options.

While Xiaomi has not yet disclosed the pricing for the Redmi 14C, it is expected to be comparable to the launch price of the Redmi 13C, which was around $160.
