Oppo has made a splash in the tablet market with the release of its new flagship, the Pad 3 Pro. This cutting-edge device is powered by the high-performance Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version chipset, which it shares with the RedMagic Nova. Despite opting for an IPS panel over the traditionally preferred OLED or AMOLED, the Pad 3 Pro doesn’t skimp on display quality. Its expansive 12.1-inch screen boasts a remarkable resolution of 3,000 x 2,120 pixels, a peak brightness of 900 nits, and a swift 144 Hz refresh rate, delivering vibrant visuals and smooth transitions.
The device is packed with advanced features, including LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, ensuring fast performance and ample storage space. A robust 9,510 mAh battery powers the tablet, which can be quickly recharged with 67 W wired charging support. For creatives and note-takers, Oppo has added stylus support, with a remarkably low latency of just 2.0 ms, making it incredibly responsive to user inputs.
Encased in a sleek and sturdy aluminium body measuring 268.7 x 195.1 x 6.5 mm and weighing just 586 grams, the Pad 3 Pro is both elegant and portable. Its audio experience is enriched by a four-speaker array that delivers impressive sound clarity.
Buyers have the flexibility of choosing from four different memory configurations to suit their needs. The entry-level model starts at CNY 3,299 (approximately $463) with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. For those requiring more power and capacity, options are available with 12 GB or 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. The top-tier model, featuring 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage, is priced at CNY 4,499 (around $632).
While there’s much excitement around this release, Oppo has yet to announce any plans for an international rollout, leaving eager fans worldwide waiting in anticipation. As the technology landscape continues to evolve, the Oppo Pad 3 Pro firmly positions itself as a formidable contender in the premium tablet arena.
