Asus has introduced an exciting new addition to its monitor lineup in China, the ROG Strix OLED XG27ACDMS, available on JD.com. Priced competitively, this monitor is sandwiched between the ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG and XG27ACDNG in terms of refresh rate. It boasts an impressive 280 Hz refresh rate, a 1440p native resolution, and lightning-fast 0.03 ms GtG response times on its 27-inch QD-OLED panel. The mid-sized screen also offers 250 nits of full panel brightness and up to 1,000 nits in HDR mode across 3% of its panel area.
In China, the ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG and XG27ACDNG are priced at approximately CNY 3,499 (around $488) and CNY 5,999 (around $836), respectively. Meanwhile, the ROG Swift OLED XG27ACDMS debuts at CNY 3,999 (approximately $557), with some early discounts bringing it down to about CNY 3,400 (around $474).
While it’s uncertain if Asus will offer the XG27ACDMS at such competitive prices outside China, the pricing strategy suggests aggressive positioning in other markets. For example, the XG27AQDMG is priced at $699 MSRP in the US. However, the global release details for this 280 Hz QD-OLED monitor remain unclear, leaving potential buyers in Europe, North America, and beyond eagerly anticipating further announcements.
