Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and Core Ultra 5 250K Plus Drop Below MSRP With New Game Bundle
Intel’s Core Ultra 200S lineup is getting a timely boost for PC gamers and desktop builders. The Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and Core Ultra 5 250K Plus are now available at discounted prices, with some listings falling below their original launch MSRPs. To make the offer even more attractive, Intel has also added a new Gamer Days bundle that includes two upcoming games with qualifying purchases.
The price cuts arrive shortly after Intel raised CPU prices last month, a move that surprised many buyers. The increase affected newer value-focused chips such as the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and Core Ultra 5 250K Plus, making them less competitive than they appeared at launch. Intel pointed to rising supply chain costs as the reason behind the price hike, and ongoing component shortages across the PC hardware market may have contributed to the adjustment.
Now, the situation looks much better for buyers. As part of Intel’s latest Gamer Days promotion, several Intel-powered products, including desktop CPUs, laptops, handheld devices, and Arc graphics platforms, are being offered at lower prices.
The Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus is now available for around $290. That is $10 below its original $299 launch MSRP and $49 below its increased MSRP of $339. At this price, the 270K Plus becomes a much stronger option for gamers and productivity users looking for a modern desktop CPU without paying inflated prices.
The Core Ultra 5 250K Plus is also seeing improved pricing. The KF version is now listed from around $194, while the K model starts at around $209. For comparison, the Core Ultra 5 250K originally launched at $199 before rising to $219, while the KF model moved from $199 to $204 after the price adjustment. With the latest discounts, both chips regain much of their original value appeal.
Intel is also adding extra incentive through its Q3 2026 Gamer Days bundle. The promotion runs from August 10, 2026, through September 13, 2026, depending on the participating seller. Buyers who purchase qualifying Intel products during the promotional period can receive two games: Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis and Star Wars: Galactic Racer.
Together, the two games carry a combined value of $119.98, which adds meaningful value to eligible purchases. Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is scheduled to launch on February 12, 2027, while Star Wars: Galactic Racer is expected to release on October 6, 2026.
