Having first appeared in an FCC filing and teased by online observers ahead of its official release, the TRETAKT offers users the ability to remotely manage their everyday devices. This can be accomplished via a smart home system, a dedicated remote control, voice-activation through services like Amazon Alexa, or the IKEA Home smart app. The app adds convenience by allowing users to confirm that devices such as irons are powered down after they’ve left the house or to schedule when lights should be activated remotely.
