Superior Plating Technology has officially kicked off construction on a new manufacturing facility in Ayutthaya, Thailand, marking a major step in the company’s global expansion plans and its push into higher-value production. The project begins with a first-phase investment of NT$300 million (about US$9.52 million), covering both factory construction and key equipment purchases.
The new site is designed to become a high-end transformation hub, strengthening the company’s ability to scale advanced plating and surface treatment work while improving responsiveness to regional and international customers. By establishing a stronger operational base in Thailand, Superior Plating Technology is positioning itself to meet growing demand for premium manufacturing services, streamline delivery timelines, and enhance supply chain flexibility.
Ayutthaya’s location and industrial infrastructure make it an attractive destination for companies building production capacity in Southeast Asia, especially those looking to serve electronics, industrial components, and other sectors that rely on precision plating and consistent quality standards. With this new factory, Superior Plating Technology aims to elevate its production capabilities and support long-term growth through more specialized, higher-margin output.
The groundbreaking signals that the company is moving quickly from planning to execution. Once the first phase is completed, the Thailand facility is expected to play a central role in expanding capacity and supporting advanced manufacturing requirements, reinforcing Superior Plating Technology’s strategy to compete in the high-end segment while broadening its footprint in the region.
