Samsung Electronics has been at the forefront of evolving home appliances by integrating their advanced Core Technology. The Executive Vice President and Head of the Customer Experience Team for Samsung’s Digital Appliances Business, Moohyung Lee, provided insights into this technological advancement and its impact on daily life.
Introduced initially at IFA 2023, Samsung’s Core Technology is shaping a new era of convenience and customization in home appliances, aligning with users’ preferences. Lee underlines, “Core Tech is the driving force behind Samsung’s home appliances, offering a sneak peek into a future enriched by unique, cutting-edge innovations.”
The essence of Samsung’s Core Tech is encapsulated in four values: Outstanding performance, AI-powered intelligence, Flexible Use, and Durable & Sustainable designs. Samsung’s application of these values is evident in their latest refrigerators, washing machines, and other household products, which are crafted to redefine the domestic landscape. Advanced functionalities like AI Ecobubble in washing machines enhance laundry results, while WindFree technology cools environments subtly without the discomfort of direct cold drafts.
Integrating Advanced Sensors in Upcoming Samsung Products
Technological features such as Twin Cooling Plus in refrigerators and freezers optimize internal temperatures, substantially reducing fluctuation. The Bespoke Jet AI cordless vacuum boasts Clean Station technology, which automatically disposes of collected dust. Furthermore, the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo offers the added convenience of washing and drying in one appliance.
The Bespoke line empowers consumers to personalize their appliance exteriors, adding a layer of individual expression to functionality. Energy efficiency remains a central theme in Samsung’s Core Tech-driven products, exemplified by the Dual Cook Flex Oven enabling the simultaneous preparation of two distinct dishes at different temperatures.
Future home appliances will harness the power of sensors, data, and enhanced connectivity to allow artificial intelligence (AI) to simplify tasks in households utilizing Samsung products. Lee assures that innovative tools such as LiDAR and 3D sensors will continue to be a part of Samsung’s strategy to bring ease and intelligence into the home.
With Samsung’s commitment to innovation and improving user experience, their home appliances will likely set benchmarks for smart living, offering unprecedented control and personalization in the years to come.
