Zero Zero Robotics is making waves with the introduction of its HOVERAir X1 PRO and PROMAX drones, both designed as innovative alternatives to traditional action cameras on selfie sticks. These drones boast a compact and pocket-friendly design, making them highly portable and convenient for on-the-go aerial photography.
The HOVERAir X1 PROMAX stands out as the series’ first 8K-capable variant, while the X1 PRO offers 4K/60fps recording capabilities. Despite their high-tech features, both models maintain the same foldable design as their predecessor and can track and record users at speeds up to 26 miles per hour (approximately 42 kilometers per hour).
Both drones feature SmoothCapture 2.0 electronic image stabilization (EIS) and possess an upgraded AI-powered trajectory planning and mapping system. This enhancement is possible due to a new onboard neural processing unit (NPU), which is claimed to be 15 times more powerful than the one in the original X1 model.
Available now via a crowdfunding campaign, the HOVERAir X1 PRO starts at $399, while the X1 PROMAX is priced at $599. The campaign has seen tremendous success, already amassing nearly $405,000, far surpassing its initial $50,000 goal, with 36 days still remaining.
The popularity of these new drones further highlights Zero Zero Robotics’ ability to innovate in the drone technology space, offering both advanced features and practical design in a compact form factor.
