Honor Pad 20 Launches With 12.1-Inch 120Hz Display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, and 10,100mAh Battery
Honor has expanded its Android tablet lineup with the launch of the Honor Pad 20, a new budget-friendly tablet aimed at users who want a large display, reliable performance, and long battery life without moving into premium pricing.
The Honor Pad 20 arrives with a spacious 12.1-inch LCD display, making it a strong option for streaming, online classes, reading, browsing, and light productivity. The screen offers a sharp 3,000 x 1,872 pixel resolution and supports a 120Hz refresh rate, which should make scrolling, animations, and supported games feel smoother than standard 60Hz tablets.
Powering the tablet is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. Built on a 4nm process, the octa-core processor is designed to deliver solid everyday performance while keeping power efficiency in check. This should make the Honor Pad 20 suitable for multitasking, media consumption, casual gaming, and app-based productivity.
Battery life is another major highlight. Honor has equipped the Pad 20 with a large 10,100mAh battery, giving users plenty of capacity for long viewing sessions, work, or study. The tablet also supports up to 66W fast charging through a USB-C 2.0 port, helping reduce downtime when the battery runs low.
For video calls and basic photography, the Honor Pad 20 includes 8MP cameras on both the front and back. Both sensors support video recording at up to 1080p, which should be enough for online meetings, virtual classes, document scanning, and casual use.
Despite the large screen and battery, the tablet keeps a slim profile. It measures just 6.29mm thick and weighs around 525 grams, making it portable enough to carry around while still offering a big-screen experience.
Honor has also focused on entertainment features. The Pad 20 includes a six-speaker audio system, which should improve sound quality for movies, music, games, and video calls. The tablet is available in three color options: gray, green, and pink.
On the software side, the Honor Pad 20 runs MagicOS 10 based on Android 16. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3, giving users modern wireless performance for faster internet access and stable accessory pairing.
The tablet is offered with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, depending on the configuration. Honor lists multiple versions, including Standard, Lingyue, and Soft Light editions. In China, the Honor Pad 20 Lingyue Edition starts at CNY 2,499, which is approximately $368, for the Wi-Fi-only model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
With its large 120Hz display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, slim design, big battery, and fast charging support, the Honor Pad 20 looks positioned as a competitive affordable Android tablet for students, families, and entertainment-focused users.
