Honor X9e Pro Debuts in Malaysia With a Massive 11,000mAh Battery and Snapdragon Power
Honor has launched its latest mid-range smartphone in Malaysia, and the Honor X9e Pro is clearly built for users who hate battery anxiety. The standout feature is its enormous 11,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, a capacity rarely seen in mainstream smartphones.
With this giant battery, Honor claims the X9e Pro can deliver up to 66.8 hours of video playback. That makes it a strong option for travelers, mobile gamers, binge-watchers, and anyone who needs a phone that can last far beyond a typical day of use.
Charging is also impressive for a device with such a large battery. The Honor X9e Pro supports 80W wired fast charging, helping reduce downtime when the battery finally needs a refill. It also offers 27W wired reverse charging, allowing the phone to act as a power bank for other devices.
The display is another major highlight. The Honor X9e Pro features a large 6.8-inch AMOLED screen with a 2,788 × 1,280 resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Honor says the panel offers 800 nits of typical brightness and up to 2,000 nits in high-brightness mode. For supported video content, the company claims the screen can reach an extreme 10,000 nits peak brightness during full-screen playback.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset. It is paired with 8GB of RAM and comes with storage options of up to 512GB, giving users plenty of room for apps, photos, videos, and games.
For photography, the Honor X9e Pro includes a 108MP main rear camera with a 1/1.67-inch sensor and optical image stabilization. This should help improve clarity, especially in low-light shots and handheld photography. The rear camera can also record video at up to 4K resolution. On the front, the phone has a 16MP selfie camera for video calls and social media content.
Durability is another area where Honor is pushing the X9e Pro as a serious contender. The phone comes with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. It has also received SGS five-star drop-resistance certification, making it a more rugged choice than many typical mid-range smartphones.
Other features include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. On the software side, the Honor X9e Pro runs MagicOS 10 based on Android 16 out of the box.
The Honor X9e Pro appears to share similarities with the Honor X80 Pro Max released in China earlier in 2026. Both devices feature an 11,000mAh battery and the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset, though the Malaysia-bound X9e Pro offers a 108MP main camera compared with the X80 Pro Max’s single 50MP rear camera.
The Honor X9e Pro is now available for pre-order in Malaysia. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model is priced at RM1,899, which is around $466. The higher-end version with 8GB RAM and 512GB storage costs RM2,399, or about $588.
With its massive battery, bright AMOLED display, durable design, and 108MP camera, the Honor X9e Pro is shaping up to be one of the more interesting mid-range Android phones for users who prioritize endurance, toughness, and everyday performance.
