Honor Turbo launches with huge 8,560mAh battery, 120Hz AMOLED display, and Android 16
Honor has introduced the Honor Turbo for the Eurasian market, bringing a standout feature that battery-focused smartphone buyers will immediately notice: a massive 8,560mAh silicon-carbon battery. Despite packing one of the largest batteries in its category, the phone keeps a surprisingly slim profile at 7.76mm and weighs around 196g.
The Honor Turbo supports 80W wired fast charging, giving users a faster way to top up the large battery when needed. However, the device does not include wireless charging.
On the front, the Honor Turbo features a 6.79-inch AMOLED display with a sharp 2,640 x 1,200 resolution. The screen also supports a 120Hz refresh rate, making scrolling, gaming, and everyday navigation feel smoother. This combination of a large AMOLED panel and high refresh rate should appeal to users who watch videos, browse social media, or play mobile games frequently.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset. Built on a 4nm process, this octa-core processor is designed to offer efficient performance for daily use, multitasking, and mid-range gaming while helping preserve battery life.
For photography, the Honor Turbo comes with a dual rear camera setup. It includes a 50MP main camera paired with a 5MP ultrawide lens. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera for video calls, portraits, and social media content.
The phone runs MagicOS 10 based on Android 16, giving users Honor’s latest software experience with modern Android features. It also includes useful extras such as NFC, stereo speakers, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Durability is another major highlight. The Honor Turbo carries IP66, IP68, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance, making it better protected against splashes, dust, and challenging everyday conditions.
The Honor Turbo is available in three color options: black, green, and beige. In Russia, the phone is reportedly priced at RUB 36,990, which is roughly $447. It is offered in a single configuration with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
With its enormous battery, slim design, high-refresh AMOLED display, and rugged water resistance ratings, the Honor Turbo looks like a strong option for users who want long battery life without giving up modern smartphone features.
