Honor Magic V5 Seeks to Outshine Oppo Find N5 and Vivo X Fold5 with Pioneering Periscope Telephoto Features

Honor is gearing up to unveil the Magic V5, a groundbreaking foldable smartphone that promises to elevate your photography experience. This new model will feature a superior 70 mm telephoto camera designed to outperform its predecessor, the Magic V3, and rival devices like the Oppo Find N5 and Vivo X Fold5.

The Magic V5 will stand out with a 64 MP periscope zoom camera, offering a superior f/2.5 aperture compared to the f/3.0 in the Magic V3. This enhancement will provide clearer and more precise images, thanks to a native 3x optical zoom, improving upon the previous model.

Set to launch on July 2, the Magic V5 is not only focused on photographic excellence. Honor aims to make it the lightest foldable phone on the market, a title currently held by the Vivo X Fold5. Despite this weight advantage, the device will also be slimmer than the Oppo Find N5.

Recently, Honor has been ramping up anticipation through Chinese social media by showcasing sample photos from the Magic V5’s telephoto camera. These images illustrate the camera’s capability to capture stunning detail and clarity, setting a new benchmark for foldable phones.

In addition, the primary camera is expected to offer a 23 mm equivalent focal length, ensuring high-quality wide-angle shots. While the optical zoom drops from 3.5x to 3x, the overall enhancements promise a superior photographic experience.

With the imminent release, tech enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting to see how the Honor Magic V5 will redefine the standards for foldable smartphones in both design and functionality.
