HKC Unveils Groundbreaking 43.8-Inch 4K Ultrawide Monitor With Cinematic 24:9 Display

HKC has introduced the Tianqi 43H180C, a striking new 43.8-inch ultra-wide monitor designed for gamers, creators, and productivity users who want more screen space without jumping to an extreme 32:9 format.

The standout feature is its unusual 24:9 aspect ratio. While 43.8-inch monitors already exist, most models in this size class use a 32:9 layout with a 3840 x 1080 resolution. HKC is taking a different route with a sharper 5760 x 2160 resolution, giving the Tianqi 43H180C roughly 1.5 times the pixel count of standard 4K. That means users can expect significantly more detail, cleaner text, and a much larger workspace for multitasking.

For gaming, the 24:9 format should feel closer to a wide cinematic ultrawide experience rather than the stretched super-ultrawide look of 32:9 displays. The monitor also features a 1000R curved panel, which is designed to wrap more naturally around the user’s field of view and create a more immersive experience during gameplay, video editing, and daily desktop use.

The high resolution will come with a major performance demand. Running games at 5760 x 2160 is far more challenging than standard 4K, and hitting high frame rates at this pixel count will require an extremely powerful graphics card. Even top-tier GPUs such as the GeForce RTX 5090 may be pushed hard in demanding games, especially if users aim for frame rates close to the monitor’s maximum 180Hz refresh rate.

HKC is also positioning the Tianqi 43H180C as a strong productivity display. One of its most useful features is a triple-screen mode that can split the panel into three 1920 x 2160 sections. This gives users the feel of a multi-monitor setup on a single curved display, making it easier to manage documents, timelines, browsers, coding windows, chat apps, and creative tools side by side.

The panel uses Mini LED backlighting, which should help improve contrast, brightness control, and overall image quality compared with many conventional LCD monitors. Color performance also looks promising, with HKC claiming 99% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. That makes the display appealing not only for gaming but also for photo editing, video production, and other color-sensitive work.

Connectivity is another major highlight. The Tianqi 43H180C includes DisplayPort 2.1 support, which is important for handling such a high resolution at a high refresh rate. It also includes KVM multi-device control, allowing users to operate more than one system with the same keyboard and mouse setup. A USB Type-C port with 96W power delivery is also included, making it useful for connecting and charging laptops with a single cable.

At the moment, HKC has not confirmed the official price or wider retail availability for the Tianqi 43H180C. Still, with its 43.8-inch curved panel, 24:9 aspect ratio, 5760 x 2160 resolution, Mini LED backlighting, 180Hz refresh rate, and productivity-focused multitasking features, it looks like one of the most unique ultra-wide gaming monitors to watch in 2026.
