Hisense Unveils Budget-Friendly Smart Glasses That Stay Light and Last All Day

Hisense is expanding its wearable lineup in China with the new Smart Audio Glasses G11, a pair of lightweight audio-focused smart glasses designed for everyday use. Instead of leaning on bulky displays or complex AR features, the G11 keeps things simple: stylish frames, strong open-ear audio, and a handful of AI-powered tools that make them more practical on the go.

One of the biggest selling points is comfort. Hisense says the lightest frame option weighs just 26.5 grams, which puts these smart glasses in a range that should feel easy to wear for hours. The overall design is also slim, with temples measuring about 5.3mm, and the company highlights a “second-generation” ergonomic design aimed at improving fit and reducing fatigue during longer use. With multiple frame options available, they’re clearly trying to appeal to different style preferences rather than offering a one-look wearable.

On the “smart” side, the Hisense Smart Audio Glasses G11 include a lightweight AI model that enables features like dialogue translation and interpretation. That can be useful for travel, quick conversations, or situations where you want a hands-free way to understand and respond without constantly checking your phone.

Audio performance is positioned as the main highlight. Hisense notes that the sound is tuned by Vifa, a well-known Danish audio company. The glasses also feature a 6-microphone array, which helps with voice pickup and enables what Hisense describes as spatial input. For people who take calls outdoors or use voice commands while walking, microphone quality can be just as important as speaker quality.

For outdoor use, Hisense claims the G11 includes “best-in-class” noise reduction technology, along with multi-dimensional interaction features intended to make them easier to use while moving around. There’s also an IP54 rating, meaning they’re built to handle dust exposure and light splashes—helpful for daily wear, commuting, and unpredictable weather.

Battery life is another area where the G11 aims to stand out. Hisense advertises up to 47.2 hours of battery life, while continuous listening is rated at up to 12 hours. Charging is handled through a magnetic charging setup, and the glasses also include an audio recording feature, adding another practical function for users who want to capture quick notes or snippets of audio hands-free.

Pricing starts at CNY 1,189 (around $174), placing the Hisense Smart Audio Glasses G11 in the affordable smart glasses category—especially for a model emphasizing lightweight comfort, AI translation features, and branded audio tuning. For now, they’ve launched in China, and Hisense hasn’t confirmed whether they’ll be released in other markets.
