Rollacrit just poured three fresh expansions into Heroes of Barcadia, marking the game’s biggest content drop since its record-smashing Kickstarter raised over $1.2 million in 2022. Whether you’re a longtime dungeon crawler or a newcomer planning your next game night, this wave adds new heroes, mechanics, and seasonal mischief that slot seamlessly into the base game.
Heroes for Hire is the headline act. This core expansion introduces four new playable characters—Sip-Jin the Drunken Fist, Biggswigg the Buzzkiller, Ontaprielle the Alchemist, and Dram the Aged & Oaken. Each hero comes with a health bar cup, a custom d20, a signature move card, and unique loot. You can swap these characters in for the originals and simply shuffle their cards into your existing decks, keeping setup simple and compatibility tight.
Booze Ooze Invasion shakes up the board with roaming enemies that move on their own. These slimes ooze across dungeon tiles to create shifting hazards, forcing players to rethink routes and timing on the fly. Special loot lets you drop oozes directly into an opponent’s path, but don’t count on them staying put—board state is more fluid than ever.
The Halloween Booster Pack delivers the game’s first seasonal content. It brings a new room type called The Ally, plus haunted room tiles, eerie power-ups, and twisted house rules for a spooky spin on your next session. Inside the pack you’ll find five power-ups, five house rule cards, and five room tiles, all dripping with Halloween flavor.
Alongside the expansions, Rollacrit is also giving fans another shot at exclusive Kickstarter items, including the Die of Barcane Chaos, the Sword of Revealment 6-Pack, and Voodoo Ranger–themed goodies. All three expansions and the returning merch are available now on Rollacrit’s official website.
If you’ve been looking for a reason to revisit Barcadia’s boozy dungeon, this triple drop brings new heroes, clever chaos, and seasonal flair that can refresh any tabletop lineup.
