Sunblink is expanding Hello Kitty Island Adventure with a brand-new DLC pack called City Town, and it’s arriving soon. The City Town DLC launches on April 16 for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Steam on PC, and PS5, giving fans a fresh region to explore along with new quests, new shops, and a big new creative feature centered around running your own café.
City Town is described as a rainbow metropolis packed with creativity and mystery, with plenty to do both in the city streets and beyond. In this new area, you’ll work alongside familiar Sanrio friends such as Kuromi, My Sweet Piano, and Tuxedosam as you help bring the city to life by setting up new places to visit and activities to enjoy. The DLC is built to offer a sizable adventure, featuring more than 30 hours of gameplay and over 90 quests, making it a significant addition for players looking for more story content and long-term goals.
A major highlight of City Town is the arrival of USAHANA, a cheerful, energetic new friend who’s ready to show everyone around, meet new buddies, and help renovate a café that you can truly make your own. USAHANA comes with 35 friendship levels to unlock, which means plenty of rewards and benefits for players who like progression systems and building bonds with characters over time.
The centerpiece feature for many players will likely be the customizable Imagination Café. Here, you’ll design and personalize the space while crafting adorable treats to serve your Sanrio friends. The food options are designed for mixing and matching, with combinations that include sweets and drinks like mochi, dango, and boba tea. If you enjoy decorating, collecting, and experimenting with different recipes, the café is positioned as a new hub for creativity and cozy gameplay.
City Town also adds seven new shops to help the metropolis feel lively and full of variety. Expect new establishments such as a plushie boutique, blooming orchards, and a fun arcade, giving you more ways to interact with the world and expand what you can do between quests.
There’s also a steady stream of new visitors connected to USAHANA, including Pannya-chan, Buppyu-kun, Wanwa-chan, Sora-kun, and Nyako-chan. To welcome them, you’ll be able to prepare cozy apartments inside the Rainbow Tower, adding another layer of customization and collection-focused progression. And if you like surprises, the DLC teases a mysterious cameo guest that players will want to keep an eye out for once they arrive in the city.
Hello Kitty Island Adventure is already available on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PS5, and the City Town DLC aims to give both returning players and newcomers an even bigger reason to dive in on April 16.
