Headup Games has announced the formation of a new independent studio, Goon Squad, which consists of a development team previously under the Headup banner. Known for producing titles like “Tinkertown” and “Dr. Fetus’ Mean Meat Machine,” Goon Squad is now set to operate as a fully independent entity. This move aims to foster a creative environment where new gaming experiences can emerge and evolve.
Despite this spin-off, both Headup and Goon Squad will continue to operate as sister companies under the ownership of Microcuts Holding, maintaining distinct identities while contributing to the broader goals of their parent organization.
