Grab the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 for Just $159.99—A Stellar Deal at Nearly Half the Price of the Galaxy Watch 8

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 remains a compelling choice for smartwatch enthusiasts, even with the arrival of its successor, the Galaxy Watch 8. Despite being last year’s model, the Galaxy Watch 7 offers a robust suite of health and fitness tracking features and is set to receive updates until 2028.

Recently, Samsung introduced three new models in its Galaxy Watch series, including the Galaxy Watch 8. While the latest model boasts some enhancements, the Galaxy Watch 7 is now available at a striking discount. The 40mm Bluetooth version can be snapped up on Amazon for just $159.99—a 47% reduction from its original price of $299.99. Meanwhile, the LTE version is discounted to $259.99, a 26% drop from its $349.99 list price. In comparison, the Galaxy Watch 8 (40mm Bluetooth) is available for preorder at $349.99, with the LTE variant priced $50 higher.

While the deal on the 40mm Bluetooth Galaxy Watch 7 is limited to the Cream color, the LTE version can be purchased in both Cream and Green.

A notable point is the screen brightness. While not as luminous as the Galaxy Watch 8, the Galaxy Watch 7’s 1.31-inch display, with a peak brightness of 2,000 nits, remains sharp and visible even in direct sunlight. Both models share the Exynos W1000 processor, though Samsung claims the version in the Galaxy Watch 8 is an enhanced variant. They also feature 2GB RAM and 32GB storage, with the Galaxy Watch 8 being lighter and slimmer.

The Galaxy Watch 7 is equipped with sensors for measuring BIA, skin temperature, blood oxygen, and heart rate. While both the Galaxy Watch 7 and 8 offer comprehensive health tracking, including ECG and blood pressure monitoring, the newer model adds features like antioxidant index measurement and a running coach.

Battery life sees a slight upgrade with the Galaxy Watch 8 sporting a 325mAh battery compared to the 300mAh of the Galaxy Watch 7. However, apart from these distinctions and a refreshed design, opting for the Galaxy Watch 7 still provides a comprehensive smartwatch experience without compromising on essential features.
