The recently launched Govee Neon Rope Light 2 is ready to brighten up homes across the globe. The latest innovation in smart home lighting offers a touch of customization and vibrant visuals with the added convenience of integration into existing smart home systems.
Available in four configurations, customers have the option to select from black or white bases and two distinct lengths of 9.8 feet (~3 meters) and 16.4 feet (~5 meters). The inclusion of Matter compatibility allows these neon rope lights to work seamlessly with various smart home platforms, including the renowned Apple Home.
The Neon Rope Light 2, first revealed at CES 2024, boasts a 14% increase in flexibility compared to its predecessor. This upgrade enhances creative possibilities, enabling users to craft more intricate and diverse shapes with the lighting. The new model is currently available for purchase in the United States, with prices set at $69.99 for the 9.8-feet version and $99.99 for the 16.4-feet variant. In the UK, a special discounted rate is being offered at £55.99 and £69.99, down from the regular retail prices of £79.99 and £99.99 respectively. However, the black 16.4 feet model is noted to be out of stock. European customers can find the lights at €79.99 and €99.99 for the respective sizes.
With the Govee Home app, users can scan and upload any shape, allowing for a personalized lighting experience. The app makes it easy to customize color schemes and effects over the light strip’s 42 segments for the shorter model or 70 segments for the longer version. The Govee Neon Rope Light 2’s features extend to broader smart home compatibility, including integration with voice assistants and control platforms such as Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and others supported via Matter.
In addition to the neon lights, the AI Sync Box Kit 2 was also showcased at CES 2024, hinting at a future release within the first half of the year.
As smart home technologies continue to evolve, products like the Govee Neon Rope Light 2 offer a blend of aesthetic appeal and technological innovation, attracting consumers looking to enhance their living spaces with both functionality and style.
