General Motors is making waves with the unveiling of the 2026 GMC Sierra EV pickup truck, now offering two new trims with prices slashed by a remarkable $27,500. The updated offerings have also lowered the monthly lease rate to $559 from the previous $949.
The 2026 lineup includes the Elevation and AT4 variants, alongside the existing 2025 trims. The Elevation is now available at a starting price of $64,495, a significant reduction from the 2025 model’s $92,290. For those seeking extended range, the Elevation also comes in a longer-range version, boosting the driving capacity from 283 miles to 410 miles, priced at $72,695.
The Standard AT4 variant offers a driving range of 390 miles, starting at $81,395, while its Extended version can cover 470 miles on a single charge, costing $91,695. Additional 2026 options include the Standard Denali priced at $71,795, the Extended Denali at $79,995, and the Max Denali at $100,695.
One standout feature is the pricing of the Elevation and Denali trims under $80,000, making them eligible for a $7,500 federal tax credit, as long as it remains available.
GM’s innovations continue with the Sierra EV’s capability to accept up to 350 kW for fast charging, allowing it to gain approximately 100 miles in just 10 minutes. The powertrain and towing capacity have been upgraded significantly, boasting 605 horsepower and a towing capacity of 12,300 pounds on the base Elevation trim.
Enhanced features add to the vehicle’s appeal, including the MultiPro Tailgate for versatile cargo transport, a Google-powered infotainment system with a 16.8-inch display, and the advanced Super Cruise ADAS system.
For those considering the outgoing 2025 model, there’s an opportunity to save with a 2.9% APR offer for 72 months, coupled with a $3,000 Purchase Allowance.
