The Relax Pixel Tunes CD player is a charming blend of nostalgic audio and modern convenience, designed for music lovers who still enjoy the feel of physical CDs. With its transparent retro-inspired body and glow-in-the-dark styling, this compact portable CD player stands out as both a music device and a fun desktop accessory.
Built for everyday listening, the Pixel Tunes includes a 2,600 mAh battery rated at 7.4 Wh. Depending on the listening volume, users can expect around five to ten hours of playback on a single charge. Charging is handled through USB-C, making it easier to power up with modern cables and adapters.
While the CD player does include two built-in 0.5-watt speakers, they are best suited for casual listening in quiet spaces. For a richer and more enjoyable audio experience, users may want to connect wireless headphones or speakers through Bluetooth. A traditional 3.5 mm headphone jack is also available for those who prefer wired audio gear.
The Relax Pixel Tunes is compact enough to carry around or place neatly on a desk, shelf, or bedside table. It measures 13.5 x 15.6 x 2.6 centimeters and weighs 315 grams, making it lightweight and portable without feeling overly fragile.
The Relax Pixel Tunes CD player is currently listed in Japan for ¥12,980, which is approximately $82. Although direct shipping appears to be limited to Japan, international buyers may be able to import it through third-party forwarding services. However, additional fees such as shipping, service charges, and import taxes may increase the final price.
For anyone who misses the simple joy of playing CDs but still wants modern features like Bluetooth and USB-C charging, the Relax Pixel Tunes offers an appealing mix of old-school charm and practical functionality. Its transparent design, portable size, and glow-in-the-dark finish make it a standout option for collectors, retro tech fans, and anyone looking to give their CD collection a fresh new life.
