Vivo has officially rolled out the X300 Ultra internationally, bringing one of its most ambitious camera-focused smartphones to a wider audience—along with some notable pre-order perks and long-term software support promises.
One of the headline extras making the jump outside China is Vivo’s 400 mm telephoto extender, aimed at users who want more reach for long-distance photography and video. Interestingly, the 200 mm counterpart is not part of the international offering, so buyers looking for that specific accessory may be left waiting. Even so, the inclusion of the 400 mm extender reinforces Vivo’s push to position the X300 Ultra as a serious mobile imaging tool rather than just another flagship phone.
On the software side, Vivo is also leaning into longevity—an increasingly important factor for shoppers comparing premium Android phones. The company says it will deliver five years of operating system upgrades starting from Android 16, and it also claims the X300 Ultra will receive security updates for seven years. For customers investing in an ultra-premium device, that extended support window could help justify the cost over time.
Speaking of pricing, the international price is a major jump compared to China. In its home market, the Vivo X300 Ultra begins at CNY 6,999 (about $1,025) for the 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage version, while the top-end configuration with 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage reaches CNY 8,999 (around $1,320). Globally, Vivo is launching the X300 Ultra at €1,999 (roughly $2,359) for that higher 16 GB/1 TB model, putting it firmly in the ultra-premium smartphone category.
To soften that sticker shock, Vivo is pushing an aggressive set of launch incentives for early buyers. Customers who pre-order before April 23 can receive a Pro Video Rig Kit, one year of screen protection, and a €150 voucher when trading in an eligible device. Vivo is also bundling extra peace of mind with a three-year device warranty and a five-year battery warranty. On top of that, the company is offering 50% off select accessories, including its Photography Set, Tote Bag, and 100 W Fast Charger.
With premium pricing, long-term update commitments, and a launch package geared toward creators and photography fans, the Vivo X300 Ultra is clearly aiming at buyers who want a high-end Android flagship built for serious shooting—especially those who value extended support and a strong pre-order value bundle.
