Nvidia’s upcoming N1X laptop CPU has made another appearance on Geekbench, sparking curiosity among tech enthusiasts. Though the performance might not be awe-inspiring yet, there’s a lot to unpack about this engineering sample.
Recently, the N1X’s GPU was tested on Geekbench’s OpenCL benchmark, scoring 46,361 points. While this score resembles that of an RTX 2050 laptop GPU, it’s important to note that the GPU isn’t running at full capacity, as its clock speed maxes out at 1,048 MHz.
The CPU component is intriguing, featuring two clusters of 10 cores each, adding up to 20 cores. As for the GPU, it reportedly boasts 48 Streaming Multiprocessors (SMs). If Nvidia follows the usual configuration of 128 CUDA cores per SM, the N1X will sport 6,144 CUDA cores, positioning it between the RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5080.
The test machine came equipped with 128 GB of RAM, dedicating 64 GB to the GPU, and operated on Windows 11 Enterprise. While there’s still a lot to learn about the N1X, and with its potential release delayed until 2026, enthusiasts will have to rely on leaks for more information.
