The latest discussion began after a rating listing reportedly appeared on the PEGI website showing PS5 as one of the platforms for Gears of War: E-Day. Even more interesting, the listing is said to include a Universal Product Code for a physical PS5 version of the game. A UPC is commonly tied to retail products, which has led many fans to believe that a PlayStation release may have been planned, prepared, or at least seriously considered.
Gears of War: E-Day is one of the most anticipated upcoming Xbox titles, bringing the franchise back to the terrifying events of Emergence Day. Instead of continuing the latest storyline, the game will focus on a younger Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago as they face the first brutal Locust invasion.
