Garmin Venu 3 Series Smartwatches Receive Fresh Public Update with New Features and Fixes

Garmin Venu 3 and Venu 3s series smartwatches have recently been updated with new features and enhancements. The latest firmware version 9.24, which transitioned from a beta release, introduces several improvements to these popular wearable devices launched in 2023.

With this update, users can enjoy a new jump rope activity tracking option on their Venu 3 series smartwatches. The update also brings support for male audio prompts, enriching the user experience with additional auditory feedback, and the required audio files are included in the package.

Several bugs have been ironed out in this release. An issue that had users experiencing random music playback has been addressed. The Golf activity setup has been corrected to ensure that scoring does not accidentally get switched off. Moreover, previous concerns about battery drainage stemming from the wrist heart rate monitor being disabled have been resolved. Besides these fixes, the update package offers Male Audio Prompts version 1.67, Translated Workouts version 1.12, Icon Animations version 1.05, and GCM Translations version 2.14.

Importantly, the Electrocardiogram (ECG) functionality, which faced issues in past software versions, is now reportedly restored and operational with the new update.

Owners of the Garmin Venu 3 series smartwatches can access the update through the Garmin Express application or the Garmin Connect Mobile app. The software deployment has successfully concluded as of March 5th and is presently available to all users.
