GameMax Unveils Dragon Knight 2 Tower: Eight HDD Bays & Built-In ARGB Fans for Just $105

The GameMax Dragon Knight 2 has hit the market, presenting an exciting new option for those looking to build a state-of-the-art gaming rig or workstation. While it retains much of the beloved design from its predecessor, the Dragon Knight, this full-tower case has made some subtle yet significant updates to enhance its appeal.

Designed to accommodate large components, the Dragon Knight 2 is perfectly suited for those who require an expansive setup. With support for motherboards up to the E-ATX form factor, the case also provides versatility by fitting mini-ATX, micro-ATX, and ATX motherboards. The layout ensures you can manage cables efficiently, presenting a neat build visible through the elegant acrylic side panel.

One of the standout features of the Dragon Knight 2 is its impressive capacity for storage. The case boasts eight HDD slots, reminiscent of the full-tower designs from the 2010s that catered to large storage needs. If solid-state drives are more your style, it can hold up to eight SSDs, along with two additional SSD spaces where hard drives would typically go. The front space is cleverly utilized for this extensive storage rack, keeping the PSU area confined to a portion of the interior, thus ensuring a tidy appearance.

Additionally, the case includes a valuable HDD hot-swap feature and a 3-in-1 card reader, adding convenience to its repertoire of features.

The Dragon Knight 2 doesn’t skimp on cooling, arriving equipped with five ARGB fans for a dazzling display. While it allows the installation of AIO cooling solutions with radiator slots up to 240mm on top and 120mm at the rear, the front and bottom areas are reserved for storage, thus not supporting radiators. The fans are connected through an ARGB fan hub, offering full control over light color and effects to customize your setup.

Ventilation remains a priority with comprehensive airflow systems in place, supported by mesh covers and dust filters at the top and bottom to minimize dust intrusion and simplify cleaning efforts.

While GameMax has yet to disclose all the specifics regarding component clearance, the case appears in line with previous models by offering approximately 420mm for graphics cards, 170mm for CPU coolers, and an efficient 20mm for cable management by the side panel.

Priced attractively at $105.90, the GameMax Dragon Knight 2 brings a blend of style, storage, and functionality. However, specific details on availability are still forthcoming, so keep an eye out if this robust case piques your interest.
