Galaxy S27 Chipset Leak Hints at an Unexpected Pro Model Twist

Samsung Galaxy S27 Series Leak Reveals Four Models and a Surprising Chipset Split

Fresh trade database entries may have revealed key hardware details for Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S27 lineup, and the most interesting part is not just the presence of four models. According to the latest import-export records, Samsung could be preparing a different chipset strategy for the Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27+, Galaxy S27 Pro, and Galaxy S27 Ultra.

The listings reportedly reference European dual-SIM variants of all four devices: Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27+, Galaxy S27 Pro, and Galaxy S27 Ultra. If accurate, this would mark a notable expansion of Samsung’s flagship lineup, with the Galaxy S27 Pro sitting between the Plus and Ultra models.

The standard Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+ are listed with Samsung’s upcoming Exynos 2700 chipset. That suggests Samsung may continue using its own in-house silicon for select international markets, especially in Europe. The Exynos 2700 is expected to be the company’s next-generation flagship processor, designed to compete more closely with Qualcomm’s high-end Snapdragon chips.

The surprising detail comes from the Galaxy S27 Pro. Instead of using the same chip as the Ultra model, the Pro is listed with Qualcomm’s SM8950 chipset, believed to be marketed as the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6. While this would still be a powerful flagship processor, it appears to sit below the chip listed for the Galaxy S27 Ultra.

According to the same records, the Galaxy S27 Ultra is associated with the SM8975, reportedly Qualcomm’s highest-end chipset for that generation. This processor is expected to launch as the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, positioning the Ultra as the true performance leader of the series.

The leaked specifications also mention 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage across all four listed models. Display sizes are said to include a 6.3-inch screen for the Galaxy S27, a 6.7-inch display for the Galaxy S27+, a 6.5-inch panel for the Galaxy S27 Pro, and a large 6.9-inch display for the Galaxy S27 Ultra.

If these details prove accurate, Samsung may be creating a clearer performance gap between its premium models. The Galaxy S27 Pro could offer a more compact flagship experience with Snapdragon power, while the Galaxy S27 Ultra may remain the top-tier option for buyers who want the best camera system, largest screen, and most powerful chipset.

This strategy would also allow Samsung to appeal to different types of flagship buyers. The regular Galaxy S27 could serve users who want a smaller high-end phone, the Galaxy S27+ could target those who prefer a larger display without going all-in on Ultra pricing, the Galaxy S27 Pro could become a compact performance-focused device, and the Galaxy S27 Ultra would continue as the no-compromise flagship.

However, it is important to treat these details as early information. Samsung has not officially announced the Galaxy S27 series, and chipset plans can vary by market. Trade listings can provide useful clues, but final specifications may change before launch.

Still, the leak points to an interesting direction for Samsung’s next flagship family. A four-model Galaxy S27 series with Exynos and Snapdragon variants could give buyers more choice than before, while reserving the most powerful Qualcomm chip for the Ultra model. If Samsung follows this path, the Galaxy S27 lineup could become one of its most diverse and strategically segmented flagship launches yet.
