Galaxy S26 Ultra Leak Suggests Samsung May Stick With the Same Battery and Charging Speeds Again

Samsung is getting ready to fully reveal the Galaxy S26 lineup at its next Galaxy Unpacked event, and a fresh leak is already shaping expectations for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. According to the newly surfaced promotional images, Samsung’s top-tier flagship may not deliver a big leap in battery life or charging speeds compared to the previous generation.

The leaked promo material claims the Galaxy S26 Ultra can deliver up to 31 hours of battery life. That’s the same figure quoted for last year’s Ultra model, which strongly suggests Samsung is sticking with a 5,000mAh battery once again. While software and efficiency improvements can still help real-world endurance, the headline battery claim points to an experience that will feel familiar to recent Ultra owners rather than a major upgrade.

Charging details in the leak also suggest little change. The promo images reportedly state the Galaxy S26 Ultra can go from 0% to 75% in 30 minutes, matching what was advertised for the prior model. That’s especially interesting because separate rumors have hinted at faster, 60W wired charging for the S26 Ultra, up from 45W previously. If both are accurate, it could mean the phone supports quicker peak charging under certain conditions, but the overall advertised charging milestone remains similar—so everyday charging gains may be modest.

Beyond battery and charging, the leaked images echo previously rumored camera specifications. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is said to include a 12MP front-facing camera, while the rear setup could feature a 200MP main camera, a 10MP 3x telephoto, a 50MP 5x telephoto, and a 50MP ultrawide camera. If this configuration holds true at launch, Samsung appears focused on refining its established high-zoom, high-resolution camera formula rather than reinventing it.

The promo leak also offers another glimpse at the Galaxy S26 Ultra design and shows it alongside other products expected to share the stage, including the Galaxy S26 and the Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro.

Samsung is set to unveil the Galaxy S26 series on February 25, 2026. The company is also taking reservations ahead of the event, which include a $30 pre-order credit.
