Casio’s tiniest tough watch is sneaking into the U.S. at last. The G-Shock DWN5600-1 “Nano” has quietly appeared at a stateside retailer, hinting that an official U.S. launch could be right around the corner.
This ring-sized spin on the classic DW-5600 has shown up in multiple markets overseas, but American fans have been waiting for a local listing. That wait may be ending: California-based Tillys is offering the black DWN5600-1 for $110, becoming the first U.S. retailer to put it on sale. It’s not currently shown on Casio’s official retailer list, which makes the early listing even more intriguing and suggests a broader rollout could follow. Note that this store does not ship to Alaska and Hawaii.
Only the black version is available in the U.S. for now. The red DWN-5600-4 and yellow DWB-5600-9 launched in Asia and the UK earlier, and the black model sold out in the UK within 24 hours at £79.90—so expect demand to be strong if and when more colors arrive stateside.
Despite its playful size, the Nano keeps the core DNA that made the original a legend. The DWN-5600 measures just 23.4 x 20 x 7.5 mm and slips onto your finger like a ring, yet it still delivers the essentials:
– Shock resistance
– Dual time zones
– LED backlight
– Replaceable battery
– 20 bar water resistance (suitable for everyday wear, swimming, and more)
In short, it’s a micro G-Shock with real toughness and everyday utility, not just a novelty. If you’ve been eyeing the Nano since its overseas debut, keep an eye on U.S. listings—this early appearance is a strong sign that an official Casio.com launch is imminent. For now, the black DWN5600-1 at $110 is the first confirmed option in the U.S., with red and yellow variants potentially following once the wider rollout begins.
