Fujifilm Brings Back Budget-Friendly 35mm Fun With Two New QuickSnap Cameras

Fujifilm is giving film photography fans two new budget-friendly options with the upcoming QuickSnap Black and White and QuickSnap Active, both designed for simple point-and-shoot shooting on classic 35mm film.

The Fujifilm QuickSnap Black and White is made for anyone who wants the timeless look of monochrome photography without dealing with manual settings or complicated camera controls. It comes loaded with ISO 400 black-and-white film, making it suitable for everyday snapshots, street scenes, portraits, travel memories, and casual creative photography.

Unlike some outdoor-focused disposable cameras, the QuickSnap Black and White is not waterproof. However, it does include a built-in flash, which helps in dim lighting, indoor settings, and evening shots. This makes it a practical choice for parties, family gatherings, and spontaneous moments where lighting is not always ideal.

Both new QuickSnap cameras offer 27 exposures, giving users 27 chances to capture moments before the film needs to be developed. The cameras are intentionally simple, featuring a fixed-focus lens, an optical viewfinder, a shutter button, a film advance wheel, and a remaining-shot indicator so users can easily track how many photos are left.

The lens is designed to produce sharp results when subjects are positioned between one and three meters away. That makes these cameras best suited for close-range portraits, group photos, casual lifestyle shots, and everyday memories rather than distant landscapes or sports photography.

Fujifilm’s QuickSnap series remains popular because it keeps the charm of analog photography accessible. There are no batteries to charge, no menus to scroll through, and no editing apps required. Users simply frame the shot, press the shutter, advance the film, and wait for the surprise of seeing the developed images later.

The Fujifilm QuickSnap Black and White is scheduled to arrive in fall 2026 with a price of $22.90. The Fujifilm QuickSnap Active is expected to launch at the same time for $24.75. For comparison, the older QuickSnap model is currently priced at $21.99 on Amazon.

With affordable pricing, easy operation, and the nostalgic appeal of 35mm film, Fujifilm’s new QuickSnap cameras could be a fun choice for beginners, travelers, partygoers, and anyone looking to enjoy film photography without investing in a traditional film camera.
