Samsung’s Exynos 2600 has emerged with impressive benchmark scores, challenging industry heavyweights in the processor arena. Initially reported in prototype production, this chipset now flaunts test results that could stir excitement among tech enthusiasts.
Known tech tipster, OreXda, shared that the Exynos 2600’s multi-core performance surpasses Apple’s A18 Pro, with scores rivaling the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Although initial reports were adjusted, the revised Geekbench 6 results are remarkable: 2,950 for single-core and 10,200 for multi-core tests. This marks a significant achievement, given Samsung’s past criticisms.
Interestingly, the chipset shifts from a previously rumored 10-core configuration to a more efficient 8-core design, featuring two Cortex-X and six Cortex-A cores. This move aims to enhance efficiency without compromising performance.
The Exynos 2600, Samsung’s first venture into the 2nm process, is touted to deliver about a 20% improvement over its predecessor, the Exynos 2400, in benchmark tests.
