Exciting New Sports Streaming Service Set to Launch in the US This Fall

Fans of sports broadcasting are in for a treat as a collaborative effort between ESPN, Fox, and Warner Bros. Discovery is set to introduce a new sports streaming service in the United States later this year, with plans for a fall launch.

The upcoming service promises to be a comprehensive destination for sports aficionados, providing access to a vast array of sporting events including those from the NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLB, NHL, NASCAR, college sports, UFC, PGA TOUR Golf, Grand Slam Tennis, the FIFA World Cup, and cycling. Subscribers will also have the convenience of streaming content from a variety of linear sports networks such as ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SECN, ACCN, ESPNEWS, ABC, FOX, FS1, FS2, BTN, TNT, TBS, truTV, and ESPN+.

Details on the name and pricing of the streaming platform will be revealed later in the year. Anticipated to be available through a standalone app, this service will also provide subscription options that may be bundled with Disney+, Hulu, and other platforms. Interestingly, ownership of the service is equally divided among the three companies, with each holding a one-third share.

Though this new platform will delight many sports fans, it is important to note that there will be certain limitations. The service will not include certain sports coverage, such as Football events owned by Amazon, Major League Soccer which is held by Apple, Sunday Night Football on NBC, and NFL games owned by Paramount.

The announcement has generated anticipation among sports enthusiasts eager for more options to stream their favorite events, and the new service looks set to deliver a broad range of content later this year.
