Developer Studio Sai has announced that their anime-styled dating action game, Eternights, will be available on the Nintendo Switch. Kepler Interactive plans to release the game on the Switch through the eShop and at retail via distributor Maximum Entertainment on October 17th. Previously, Eternights launched in September 2023 for Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
Eternights is a unique mix of a dating simulator and action game, wherein players navigate both relationships and combat scenarios during an apocalyptic event. Players can scavenge for supplies, explore dungeons, and go on dates, with the ultimate goal of saving the world and finding love.

– Face the infected: An unknown force has turned humans into dangerous monsters, focused solely on violence and power. Players must confront these monsters not only for their own survival but for the survival of their loved ones as well.
– Find love: In between exploring dungeons, players can spend time with five distinct characters, each with their own unique stories. Deepening these relationships unlocks special skills and spells useful in battles.
– Race against the clock: Time management is crucial as players must balance scavenging, dungeon crawling, and dating within set deadlines. They must decide how to best spend their time, whether by bonding with confidants, gathering supplies, training with companions, or diving straight into dungeons.
– Explore dungeons: Known as the “Wall,” these areas are filled with traps, puzzles, and minigames that must be navigated swiftly. Companions help players overcome these challenges.
– Animated cutscenes: The game includes several fully animated 2D cutscenes that vary based on the player’s romantic choices, further immersing them in the narrative and relationships.
Eternights invites players to experience a blend of heart-pounding action and heartfelt romance as they navigate the perils of an apocalyptic world.
