Epson Unveils a Smart, Wireless Printer Packed With Next‑Gen Features

Epson has introduced the L3351 Color Wireless Multifunction Printer in China, expanding its latest lineup for the market with a compact all-in-one model built for everyday home and small office tasks. The new Epson L3351 combines printing, scanning, and copying in a single device, while focusing on higher-quality output, easier upkeep, and smart wireless tools that fit modern work-from-anywhere routines.

For print quality, the Epson L3351 delivers up to 5,760 dpi full-color output. Epson also highlights an upgraded ink tube design intended to help reduce clogging, which can be a common frustration for ink-based printers over time. To improve reliability during everyday use, the printer includes a wider paper feed tray with a curved design aimed at keeping paper flatter and reducing feed problems.

A major selling point is its support for Epson’s extra-large ink bottles, designed for high page yields and fewer refills. Epson estimates you can print up to 4,500 black-and-white pages or up to 7,500 color pages, making it appealing for users who print regularly and want to keep running costs under control. Checking ink status is also straightforward, thanks to an ink-level indicator located on the front of the printer.

Maintenance is another area Epson is trying to simplify. The L3351 features a user-replaceable maintenance box, which means routine servicing can be handled without taking the printer to a repair shop—an advantage for busy households and small businesses that can’t afford downtime.

Wireless and “smart” features are also part of the package. With Epson Connect, users can print remotely from a smartphone, making it easier to send documents to the printer without being at a computer. The printer also includes e-care adaptive printhead maintenance technology, which adjusts printhead cleaning frequency based on how you use the printer, aiming to balance performance with efficiency.

Despite the feature set, the Epson L3351 keeps a space-saving footprint. It measures 361 x 317 x 162 mm (about 14.2 x 12.5 x 6.4 inches), making it a practical fit for desks, shelves, and tighter home office setups.

Pricing in China is set at CNY 1,899 (around $279). For now, Epson hasn’t confirmed if or when the L3351 will launch in other regions, so buyers outside China will need to wait for any official international availability updates.
